THE FOOD PHILOSOSPHY

Simple, generous, fresh food made for active guests.

Food at Casa Guadalest is not an afterthought. It is part of the recovery, part of the atmosphere, and part of why guests can relax properly once they arrive.

We keep meals home-cooked, plentiful, and nourishing, using fresh local ingredients wherever possible. The aim is food that feels familiar, comforting, and useful after a day on the bike, on the trails, or around the villa.

Breakfasts, lunches, evening meals, snacks, drinks, and recovery shakes are included on the fully inclusive retreat weeks, with dietary needs discussed before arrival.

DAILY RYTHM

Guests usually start with yoga or stretching, then breakfast around 08:30. For cycling and walking days, bottles, snacks, and route food are prepared before leaving.

After the ride or walk, guests return to recovery shakes and a fresh lunch before massage, pool, spa time, hot tub, or a quiet afternoon. Dinner is usually around 19:00, served as a relaxed three-course meal.

Breakfast

Coffee, fruit, yoghurt, oats or cereal, toast, eggs, and simple options that work before a long day outside.

On the route

Snacks, drinks, bottle refills, and nutrition support for riders walkers who need steady energy.

Post-activity lunch

Recovery shake first, then a fresh lunch with enough food to refuel properly before downtime.

Dinner

A relaxed three-course evening meal with drinks, conversation, and no rush to leave the table.
